This is an interesting question. Although, I kind of think that being happy and optimistic and liking cutesy things do not always go hand in hand. For instance, I love pink and cute, furry animals and costume parties and Care Bears and cheesy '80s music, but I am a relatively cynical pessimist. Regardless, I don't really care if people think I'm "cool" or not. So screw those holier-than-thou hipsters, because Care Bears are awesome! Especially the pink one.
And for the record, I wholeheartedly disagree about the tuna melts.
