Although I consider myself a packaged foods connoisseur, James Norton of Supertaster actually is one. I haven't encountered most of the foods he has reviewed, since packaged junk food is fairly difficult to find in Manhattan, where everyone is into their Balducci's and their Gourmet Garage (and eating out, of course). However, his review of Oreo Dessert Pizza from Domino's definitely brought back some bad memories. I ordered one once because it sounded tasty (Oreos! Dessert! Pizza! What's not to like?) and it was so disgusting I couldn't even finish it, so I left it for Bob to devour when he came home drunk. It literally tasted like cardboard with some chewy chocolate-like bits on top. I do have to disagree with his review of the Smart Ones Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae, though, because those things are freaking amazing. I'm obsessed with Smart Ones desserts, and whenever I come across them I buy, like, as many as my freezer can hold. Yeah, they're tiny, but that's the point! You're eating them 'cause you're a chubster, remember? Although I totally ate them even when I weighed 100 lbs., just 'cause they're that good.
