Ugly Shoes Can Be Hazardous to Your Health

I would just like to point out that only the ugliest footwear seems to kill (or seriously injure) people. First Crocs, now Uggs. It's just a lose-lose situation for everyone.

What a Croc

Why would Crocs ever open a store in SoHo, let alone Manhattan? No one in this city besides Mario Batali wears those horrendous things. Seriously, they're disgusting. They're like footwear for cartoon clowns. Although their new YOU by Crocs line appears to have potential, despite being terribly overpriced. I would totally wear these if they weren't $150.

Let's Get Some (Comfy) Shoes!

I went to DSW today to try to find some cute shoes to wear to work that won't make my feet bleed after walking just 10 blocks in them. I have ridiculously narrow, bony feet, so most shoes tend to cause some major blister action. However, most of the comfortable shoes I have found are a) ugly, b) too expensive, or c) for middle-aged moms. Some are even d) all of the above. But while I was at DSW, I stumbled upon a brand called Sofft. They have rubber soles and a lot of cushioning inside, plus they're not too expensive, and they're even kinda cute! Hallelujah! I just ordered these, but there are a few other cute styles to choose from: Emelie, Gayle, Talen, Rochelle and Gala. Yeah, they're no Louboutins, but at least you won't want to amputate your feet by the end of the day.
