I'm Gonna Write You a Love Blog

I just noticed that Sara Bareilles's "Love Song" has made it to No. 2 on the iTunes Top Songs list. It's a great song (even my tattooed, tough-guy brother likes it!) and I'm glad Sara is finally getting noticed. I've been a fan of hers since 2004, when I saw her open for Maroon 5 at Roger Williams. Maroon 5 sucked (I've seen them twice in concert, and they have terrible stage presence, or at least they did back then) but Sara blew me away. I ordered her "Careful Confessions" album as soon as I got home because I loved her sound so much - especially her song "Fairytale," which she redid for her new album. I'm looking forward to hearing more from her, and I'm sure she'll make it to No. 1 next.
