The Hap-Hap-Happiest Christmas Movies

I think every family has their own favorite Christmas movies that they always watch. Our top movies every year are:

• A Christmas Story
• Christmas in Connecticut (because we celebrate Christmas...in Connecticut)
• It's a Wonderful Life (of course)
• National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (my dad still laughs hysterically at all the jokes even though he's seen it about two dozen times)

The sad thing is, since I've been watching these movies for the past 20 years, I don't even feel like watching them that much anymore since I know them all by heart. But if you haven't seen these, you definitely should. I could probably even act them out for you if you want.

Merry Winstmas

Winston is probably the most amazing cat on the internets, if not on Earth. Here is a special Christmas video of him decked out in a Santa outfit, complete with tiny beard. I wish my cats would dress up, but instead they flip out and run around the house like maniacs until they finally free themselves of the garment, then leave it under some piece of furniture and I don't find it until months later.

Gift Suggestions Way Off Target

While browsing Target's gift suggestions for men, I was greatly amused by some of their selections. Here are some things I learned about the following male specimens:

The Guys' Guy

• Guys' guys like to play with cat toys
• Guys' guys like to make their own ice cream
• This guys' guy must be single, because no woman would allow this in her home

The Doting Grandpa

• Grandpas need to trim their nose and ear hair
• Grandpas should sleep on the floor
• Grandpas are alcoholics who need to drink martinis anytime, anywhere

The King of Comedy

• Comedy kings are Marxists
• Comedy kings are criminals who enjoy sassing cops
  
• I can't believe this exists, and costs $150

The Nifty Hipster

• "Nifty" is a hilarious word that a hipster would never say (unironically, at least)
• Hipsters are the only men who shave their pubes ("ideal for removing hair from all body zones"!)
• Hipsters like to wear Sean John cologne by hipster extraordinaire P. Diddy
• Hipsters are alcoholics who need their own personal breathalyzers
  
• "Rachael Ray" and "hipster" should never be in the same sentence. Also, she designs ugly plates
  

Marc Jacobs as Camel Toe

Marc Jacobs dressed up as "camel toe" for his Christmas party. This might be the best costume I've ever seen, but how does he walk in it??? Also - not very Christmasy.

Sad But True

This is my favorite Christmas song of all time. Bonus points for '90s-tastic Mariah frolicking in the snow with Santa. Or is that Tommy Mottola?
